Hand Surface Materials

Quartz White Quality Stone

An exquisite material that rivals, and often surpasses, the beauty of granite and marble. Not only does Quartz offer enduring charm, but it also boasts superior durability at a more accessible price point compared to traditional stones like granite or marble. Elevate your space with the timeless allure of Quartz.

Reasons to Choose Quartz
  • It comes in a much wider range of color options while maintaining the high-end, luxurious appearance.
  • Quartz shares the durability of granite and quartzite but less susceptible to chipping or cracks – and is also said to have a “softer” feel to it, compared to it’s natural stone counterparts.
  • Quartz is a man-made, non-porous material consisting of natural ground quartz stone, resins, polymers and pigments, making it very able to resist staining from liquid spills.
Proper Care

For homeowners who love the look of light marble, but need the durability of granite, quartz is the solution. Sealing is highly recommended to maintain it’s appearance and stain resistance. It’s important to note that quartz is not as heat resistant as granite and will require the use of heat pads or potholders when placing hot objects on its surface.

Quartzite Brown Tan Waves

A metamorphic rock born from sandstone and quartz crystals, undergoes natural processes deep within the earth to become versatile slabs. Quartzite boasts not only aesthetic appeal but also exceptional hardness, heat resistance, and water resistance, making it a prime choice for construction projects.

Reasons to Choose Quartzite
  • Quartzite is comparable to marble in appearance but is less expensive.
  • Scratches are less likely to occur, and if they do, the natural patterns and veining makes for a easy cover up.
Proper Care

While strong and durable, quartzite is not indestructible. Sealing is recommended at the time of installation and should be re-applied at least once a year. Cutting boards and potholders are also recommended as extreme use could damage the seal, and possibly the stone surface as well. As with all natural stone surfaces, liquid spills should be wiped up as soon as possible to avoid staining.

An igneous rock born from cooled lava, distinguished by its prominent mineral grains. An ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor applications, granite is favored by customers for its unbeatable combination of durability, beauty, and affordability. Transform your  spaces with the beauty  of granite.

Reasons to Choose Granite
  • Granite is a natural stone product with a timeless look and appeal.
  • It lies near the top of the hardness scale and will withstand heavy use, direct heat and is very resistant to stains when properly sealed.
  • In the kitchen, you can find yourself safely placing hot pans or cutting vegetables directly on the surface without damage.
Proper Care

Granite countertops are one of the best stone materials to use for kitchen and bath countertops, but there are some steps needed to ensure their beauty will last. The biggest issue lies with countertops not being properly sealed, or the sealant wearing off and not being resealed. Since granite is a porous material, it will absorb juice, oils or colored liquids (such as wine) causing a stain that might be impossible to remove. Be sure to have your countertop properly sealed and ask your design specialist about the frequency you may need to reseal the surface.

A stone steeped in history and culture since its iconic use by the Greeks and Romans. Symbolizing refined taste, marble’s aesthetic appeal makes it an ideal choice for various spaces in your home. Immerse yourself in the enduring elegance of marble. Marble’s versatility and classic beauty can elevate any space.

Reasons to Choose Marble
  • Most customers looking for a unique, clean, contemporary slab for their countertop are drawn the beauty of marble.
  • Some slabs are very consistent in their overall appearance, however, marble is a natural stone and no two slabs will be identical.
Proper Care

Although marble shares a high heat resistance with granite, it is a much more porous material and is very susceptible to liquid staining or scratches. Lack of, or improperly applied sealant is almost a guaranteed invitation for stains, which is why it’s important to keep this material properly sealed and maintained. Normal kitchen activities, such as cutting or placing heavy ceramic containers, can scratch or even chip the corners or surface. For these reasons, we do not recommend the use of marble as a kitchen countertop.

Proper Care

When composite granite sinks are new, they include a durable factory finish and vibrant colors. Over time, it is more common to notice a white or chalky haze appearance with contrasting dark colors. It’s important to use the proper cleaners to deep clean and protect your new sink.

Porcelain sinks are investment that pays off over the years. While they may come with a slightly higher price tag, their long-lasting resilience makes them a wise choice for homeowners. Renowned for their visual appeal and low maintenance, porcelain sinks bring both style and practicality to your kitchen or bathroom.

Suggested Use
  • Kitchen

Proper Care

To keep your porcelain in excellent condition, clean it weekly to prevent the buildup of grease, dirt, and soap scum. At least once a month, give your porcelain sinks a good deep-cleaning to maintain their beauty.
